RattleandHumSports.com host Bryan Houston spends some time with Tyler, TX. native Jimmy Rabbitt. Rabbitt carries one of the biggest radio names in the country. He began his stardom in Dallas at KLIF in the early 1960’s.

Rabbit moved on to Los Angeles, where he pioneered underground radio–mixing album rock with outlaw country on 94.7 AM KMET.

In addition to spinning records, Rabbitt cut a few as well and recalls fond memories playing “The Whisky A G0 Go” in the late 1970’s.

Currently, Rabbitt can be heard at KOCI radio.com and is working on a book about his life. We truly appreciate the time “The Rabbitt” took to share his story for us — true radio greatness.
